There is a difference between trucking companies. Since May of 1992, contractors in Central Texas have come to expect the highest level of professional service from Earth Transport for their aggregate hauling needs. Here are a few reasons why we are different:

• modern and well maintained equipment leading to less disruption of service for the customer
• outstanding safety record reducing job-related accidents and lost time

Sand, dirt, rocks, and gravel have not changed from the beginning of time, but the technology used to transport them is constantly evolving. At Earth Transport we operate modern, fuel efficient equipment and we don’t stop there. For example, all of our end dump trailers are equipped with high quality bed liners that allow the material to come out much more easily. This is a great safety feature, because it allows the material to slide at a lower angle, reducing the chances of a trailer turnover.

We carry a liability policy with an umbrella written by an "A" rated admitted carrier. We also provide worker’s compensation insurance covering all of our employees.

Currently, our drivers average three years seniority with the company. This illustrates stability in a historically unstable occupation.

Because communication is so important between contractors and truckers to maximize production, we have improved the means of communication with our drivers. Currently, 20% of our drivers have mobile phones, with that number steadily increasing. Over the past couple of years, we have had numerous instances in which these phones have saved both Earth Transport and the contractor, time, money, and lost production.
